Snow!

This year, I got a snowplow for the Hummer from Driveway Superplow:

I am writing a review of it for OFF-ROAD.COM, you can read the full article here:

My primary concern was that driving over the snow with the tires before the rear plow gets to it would pack down two strips of snow that would not scrape clean, but I have found that it scrapes pretty well when you go backwards for the final scraping run. I will be doing a more thorough write-up when more snow falls - thus far it has been a nearly snow-free winter (probably because I bought a snowplow, right?!)

The Old Snow Page Content Follows:

As many of you know already, even on the seacoast we get quite a bit of snow during typical NH winters... Much to Nicole's shagrin, we are late to many places because we stop to haul stuck vehicles back onto the road in the winter storms!

I have had good luck with various tires in the winter on my Hummer. This winter, I am running Pitbull Rocker tires most of the time, but sometimes I have my Boggers on there instead.

Here are a few shots of my previous snow tires; they were studded Good Year Wrangler MT's... if you look closely, you can also see that I siped the non-studded lugs.
