I bought this carrier from Extreme 4wd (formerly Extreme Hummer).
I had some small stress cracks show at the mounting bolts, so I took it to a local off-road fabrication shop and had them reinforce the mounting plate with another layer of plate steel for added strength; now it is stronger than new. The shop I took it to is called Wayoffroad, and Cory did a real nice job... (Cory is the same guy who did the welding on my custom rollcage)
I am planning to replace this tire carrier with a custom tailgate that will hold two spare tires, so I recently sold this one.
