NEHOG Trip 11/99

This was a soggy trip - lots of deep water crossings, but lots of fun, too. Two trucks went out, both with GoodYear GSA tires - not good in mud! We made most of the crossings just fine, but we each got stuck once - that's why you shouldn't go out alone on a trip like this! Peter just needed a tug with the tow strap from one hole, and I needed some heavy duty winching to yank me out of a muddy water hole. It was after this trip that I extended the air intake to about the top of the windshield with a snorkel - didn't hydrolock this time, but that mushroom was pretty close to the waterline at times!
