The New England Hummer Owners Group (NEHOG) was originally founded by HUMMER owner Peter Hipson as a club to better organize off-highway trail rides for the owners of HUMMER vehicles. Over the years, the number of owners in the New England area has grown, and the club has evolved.
With the introduction of the H2 and H3 vehicles there has been rapid increase in numbers of owners and dealerships, and the club has benefited from this new injection of enthusiasm. In addition to organizing trail rides for members, NEHOG also volunteers willing members/vehicles for transporting emergency personnel, search and rescue, trail cuttings and cleanups, emergency vehicle recovery -- and more. NEHOG is a non-voting member club of Tread Lightly!®, and offers Tread Lightly!® training to all club members, and Tread Trainer certification as part of the “NEHOG Trail Leader” program.
If you own a HUMMER vehicle and would like to offer your help as a volunteer, or simply would like to participate in trail rides with fellow HUMMER H1/H2/H3/+ owners, sign up for our email list. You will get NEHOG event information updates delivered right in your email, and you will tap into the a network of owners who can help answer questions about your truck and your ownership experience.
If you have any questions about NEHOG, or if you think our club’s volunteer programs may be able to help your organization...drop us a note.
